What It Does

The Voice of the Customer workflow helps you capture and surface valuable product feedback from real customer conversations automatically.

Whenever a new external meeting is created, AskElephant:

  • Validates the call is a real customer conversation (not an internal meeting, interview, or vendor call)
  • Extracts specific product feedback, feature requests, and pain points from the transcript
  • Analyzes each piece of feedback with:
    • The customer's exact quote with timestamp
    • Speaker name, role, email, and company
    • Impact level (Low/Medium/High)
    • Core problem and why it matters
    • Suggested solution
  • Delivers all findings to Slack in a clean, threaded format—one message for the meeting link, and feedback items as replies

This workflow runs automatically for external meetings, so your product team gets structured, actionable customer insights without manual note-taking or transcript review.

Purpose

The goal: help your product and leadership teams stay close to customer needs. With automatic feedback extraction:

  • Product managers see real feature requests with direct customer quotes
  • Leadership understands what's blocking deals or causing friction
  • Teams prioritize roadmap items based on actual customer pain
  • Everyone saves hours previously spent reviewing transcripts

Set It Up

  • Go to WorkflowsNew Workflow from Recipe
  • Search for "Product Feedback"
  • In the New Meeting trigger, select which team members' meetings to monitor (external calls only)
  • Configure your Slack channel where feedback should be posted
  • Review the conditional filters to ensure only relevant calls are included
  • Click the three dots in the top right and select Activate Workflow

Your product feedback will start flowing automatically from customer calls into Slack, formatted and ready for your team to act on.
